![]() The Deputy Fire Chief (“DC”) will be responsible to direct and manage all fire service needs for Lower Paxton Township. Fire services currently consist of three volunteer fire companies serving the southwest, southeast, and northern areas of the Township. ![]() The Township consists of 28.1 square miles with a population of over 53,000 residents. Lower Paxton Township is a Township of the Second Class and a suburban community located in immediately proximity to the City of Harrisburg, the Commonwealth’s Capitol. The position responsibilities also include serving as the Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator. Lower Paxton Township (Dauphin County, PA) is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to serve as the Deputy Fire Chief to lead its all-hazards volunteer fire rescue system.
